So if you notice that the temperature gauge is red and sometimes you will see smoke rising from the engine, you should follow the best ways to solve this problem easily and calmly, and these methods are:

1. Stop the car:

The first step you should follow is to stop the car in a suitable location away from other cars. If you have to drive some distances until you stop your car safely, open the windows and has a slow speed so as not to increase the temperature of the engine.

2. Open the hood:

If the hood is not too hot, open it. Yet if you can not touch it for its high heat, leave it until it cools down.

Open the bonnet if it is not high, but if you can not touch it, it is best to leave it to cool down, because opening the bonnet reduces engine temperature. Turn off the engine, but leave the ignition in the key so the fans still work and cool the engine.

Leave the engine cool down completely before opening the radiator and you should know that this process takes 30 to 45 minutes.

3. Check the radiator hose:

If the temperature is high and there was difficulty in opening it be careful and wait until it cooled because in this case it has pressure that might cause you burns.

Any default in the cooling fan might cause overheating. It is not very dangerous to drive in this case, but check your car and maintain this problem.
