Petrol prices in Qatar will increase next month, as the Ministry of Energy & Industry has announced today through Qatar Petroleum website (QP.com.qa).
According to QP, starting from May 1st, the Diesel cost will increase to QR(2) while the premium gasoline cost will increase to QR(1.9), and the super gasoline's cost will increase to QR(2). With these prices, petrol in Qatar would have reached to the highest prices ever been registered in Qatar.
Fuel prices in Qatar were regulated in response to changes in the global market from April 2016. A special committee reviews fuel prices every month and make recommendations on proposed prices for the local market accordingly.
